2007 Jaguar XK Coupe
This car started out in California before heading to Florida where she leapt between three different dealers before coming to reside with her current owner in CT. Excluding the dealerships, only three individuals have owned the car.
The owner in Cali drove her the most, racking up 52K of the 76,000 miles. The current owner bought her with the idea of her being his weekend driver/show car, as a member of the local Jaguar club. An unfortunate death in the family has him needing to move this lithe Cat on to a new home.
In my opinion, these XKs and their older cousins, the XK8, bring home the essence of the "most beautiful car ever made" (Enzo Ferrari) with their long bonnets and wide, rear haunches and do impose the image of a crouching jaguar.
This car, in Jaguar Indigo Blue over an Ivory and Slate Grey leather interior, really portrays that state of mind. The deep blue metalic paint really glows nicely in the direct sun and aside from two very minor chips in the clear coat is near perfect.
The 4.2L DOHC V8 (the AJ-V8) pumps out 300HP and 320lbft and routes that through a 6 speed auto transmission (with wheel mounted paddles shifters) and MagnaFlow axle back performance exhaust. She'll purr while cruising the highway (racking up over 25 mpg) but growl when you step on the gas and make her roar.
The car runs and drives wonderfully.
There is a minor coolant leak that has not yet been identified however, the owner states he'll be working on it and getting it fixed. The interior does show some of those, hot, sunny 76K miles with some minor wear here and there such as a cracked window button surround and "rear access lever". However, these minor cosmetics do not detract from the joy of driving this wild beast.
Being a Jaguar she is loaded with options such as heated, 10 way adjustable seats; heated, tilt/telescoping steering wheel; Alpine stereo; heated, tilt mirrors; paddle shifters; AC/Auto Climate control; auto dimming lights and mirrors; leather and wood accents; airbags; auto speed control; Bluetooth and Navigation and on and on.
The car is currently sitting on Continental Sport tires wrapped around 18" Jaguar aluminum premium wheels.
Ready to jump in and enjoy, a little TLC will make her that much better.
Asking price is a negotiable $14,500
