1995 BMW 740iL

1 owner, 76,000 mile German luxury.

Purchased new at Mauro Motors the car has been with the same owner since new. He passed away several years ago and the son is now selling this and a couple other of his cars. The car was always well maintained and only over the last few years has it been outside and not garaged.

The 740iL is the long wheel base near limo, full on luxomobile from BMW.

The 740 came equipped to take the driver and passenger on a ride in very sporty, performance minded comfort. Heated seats, PW, PS, PB (full 4 wheel disc, ABS), AC, 10 way power seats, power mirrors, sunroof, full leather interior, extra legroom and foot rests in the back, ski pass through, dual zone climate control, 6 disc trunk mounted CD player, 9 speaker sound system, 

dual front air bags, headlight washers, power tilt/telescoping steering wheel... and on and on.

The interior is in very good shape with only minimal wear on the driver seat, the headliner is sagged, the center console lid needs some work, the package tray material has faded. The radio operates but is muted, may need a code?

All other electrics seemed to work as they are supposed to.

The clear coat over the black has faded/worn in several spots. A color sand and buffing may bring that back, may not. Rust free/rot free. Runs and drives just like the ads said, "The Ultimate Driving machine". The 4L V8 pumps out 242HP and moves the car along very nicely, attached to a 5 speed auto transmission (with two modes auto or manual) and LS rear diff/traction control.

The car will need a new battery but will start, run and drive with a jump.

Originally a $65,000 car, this one can be had for less than 5% of that.

$4200 will bring this car home.
