1986 Porsche 944 Turbo

Owned by the current owner for several years and purchased with the idea of giving to his children when the time came, they aren't really interested in it, so it's time to sell her and put her in the hands of someone who will enjoy her and care for her.

This edition, in Kalahari Beige, has just less than 100K miles and runs and drives beautifully. The 2.5L Turbo 4 cylinder, putting out roughly 250 HP and 250 lbft, through a 5 speed manual transmission, runs this car up to 60 MPH in just a tad over 5 seconds. That is fairly respectable even by today's terms.

From the factory, this came optioned with several niceties, including

018 elevated hub/sport steering wheel; 158 Blaupunkt Monterey stereo system; 454 auto speed control (cruise); 650 electric detachable sunroof; and 946 power, leather seats (brown leather). Aside from the above listed options, this car is equipped with A/C that works, power windows, power steering and power 4 wheel disc brakes.

The rear seats fold down allowing for more room than one would expect in this hatchback. A previous owner installed an open element, free flow intake and a Magna Flow exhaust.

Once wearing a dealer installed "Protection Plus" clear bra, that started to negatively affect the paint, so it was removed and the nose repainted; there was also some rust in the passenger footwell and jack point that was repaired with the correct Porsche patch panel.

The car does have 99,000 miles and there is a little bit of wear here and there that shows her age but overall, she is in great shape and can easily be jumped into and immediately enjoyed. Do a deep detail and some attention to small issues (like the cracked speaker cover) and she'll be show ready. The paint shows very well with very little in the way of chips or scratches.

The fairly firm price of $17,900 will put her in your garage.
