1969 Mustang Convertible.
What this car has going for it is that it is a 69 Mustang Convertible.
It was originally Meadowlark Yellow. Unknown how many owners. 96K miles on the 200 CI straight six, backed by a C-4 automatic. The engine turns freely, the back seat in pretty good shape , the front seats show definite wear but aren't destroyed. The axle is a highway geared 2.83:1. The top is in good shape as is the frame.
Unfortunately, at some point in it 's life it must have been sitting on a mound of salt. The floors have been replaced, not professionally, and more than tin worm has attacked the poor stallion's belly. The spring box on one side may be OK, the other side is much more questionable.
The car does have power steering but that is the only option, aside from an odd dual cigar lighter option.
Although I feel that most cars are savable and this one surely is, as a base model convertible it may not be worth the effort, even if you can do all the work yourself.
Asking price of $1500
